The Kinsale colours are blue and white. The beautiful blue in this design is inspired by the Greek Island of Santorini. It is fresh and bright, and compliments Kinsale perfectly.

Beacon, boats and seas filled with the best wildlife you can imagine!

Surfers paradise, the promenade.
A little bit of heaven on the west coast of Ireland!

Funny how much people connect to place!A name can evoke so many memories & transport you to a place in time ... I was delighted to customise my Lahinch design for a special kitesurfer.

My Mum and Dad grew up in Ennis. My Dad's family owned Linnane's pub and shop on Parnell Street. My Mum's family had a pharmacy on O'Connell Street. We went every second Saturday to visit my grandparents, and potter through the town and down into the market.

I’ve been gone from Shannon longer than I lived there. But it’s still home, my Mum & Dad live right in the heart of the town.

A pretty place with a pretty name

My adopted home!

Hold on to hope & each other.
There is so much suffering right now. So much sadness. Life changing events where the human touch, compassion & kindness of others, would ordinarily help, but with so many restrictions in place, it is so difficult & even cruel.
I did this piece for #kinsaleartsweekend as the theme for the artist trail was hope. The longer Covid continues, the more I think we need hope.
Nelson Mandela said it perfectly when he said “our human compassion binds us the one to the other - not in pity or patronisingly, but as human beings who have learnt how to turn our common suffering into hope for the future” - Nelson Mandela.
Always so wise!

Take a pause
Inhale.
Exhale.
Give yourself a minute
To breathe ... We got this! 💙
The biggest burdens we carry are the thoughts in our head.
Let go of the gremlins!

We know that restricting access doesn’t make women less likely to end a pregnancy. It just makes abortion less safe. And that then threatens women’s lives. - Hillary Clinton
I was profoundly moved by the campaign in 2018. The stories from In Her Shoes - Women Of The Eighth were so heartbreaking but so important. The landslide victory was a huge step forward for women and social justice in our little country. I wept when I voted, I wept when Ireland voted to repeal the 8th. Proud that we are moving forward!

Thank you, always say thank you; it’s the greatest gift you can give someone - Maya Angelou

To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance
- Oscar Wilde

Means bright, shining light

This was done for my niece and goddaughter.
I love her and her name.
