This is Stevie Wonder from his “classic period” in 1973.
“What I'm not confused about is the world needing much more love, no hate, no prejudice, no bigotry and more unity, peace and understanding. Period.”
-Stevie Wonder
The question is, are we happy to suppose that our grandchildren may never be able to see an elephant except in a picture book?
- Sir David Attenborough
I listened to @michelleobama narrate her book #Becoming on Audible while drawing @barackobama
I fell in love with both of them. I felt emotionally committed to this drawing by hearing her voice bring me on their journey.
I stopped because the book ended & the lead ran out in my pencil pretty much simultaneously.
Weird!
This gentle face is delicate beauty and sensitivity. If the eyes are the windows to the soul, Motown Girl has a gorgeous soul.
This girl’s got attitude and sass! I really didn’t know how to handle hair and found it quite tricky, so defaulted to what I know and love best, doodles, swirly circly lines, so many of them that they sort of work!
There is a softness about this face, her eyes are gentle, maybe even sad. Her headscarf gave me license to play with the sort of doodling I love so much.
Bit o’ attitude!! More of the same, beautiful women with original hair.
Meet my new man!
I love him. He’s so intense, such power in his eyes!
